Hello all, I am looking for a peice of software that will allow me to install scripts such as Joomla, locally on my PC so that I can edit graphics and other aspects of the script before I ever upload anything to the server.

I have tried Apache2Triad but, I am wondering what alternatives there might be to that? I did a quick search in Google but, didn't find anything usefull. You're suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Thatīs the package i use on my Windows boxes to test stuff and as a sandbox.
Comes with everything you can think of. Also contains a FTP server (Filezilla) and Mercury mail server to use and abuse.

I tried many of those packages like uniserver, wamp, xampp and many others but XAMPP is my preference.
