For the ads, do they have to be on the 0 second redirect files with the code;

Do i need to place the ads on those kinds of redirect pages?

If there is no content on the page at all, and it's just redirected to another page when anyone goes to the link, then no, you don't have to have ads there.

The ads only need be placed on pages that your visitors access for any type of content.
