Many of you might don't know how to put banner ads, link ads and such... This tutorial will guide you to the process on how to do it.

1st, make sure you have installed Joomla 1.5.6,

After installed, Go to your Joomla Administrator Back-End page.

DOMAIN NAME:

• If you installed Joomla on your root, It should be:Example(If you are using a domain name):
  Register or Login
  www.yourdomain.com/administrator

• If you installed Joomla on directories, It should be:
  Register or Login
  www.yourdomain.com/name-of-the-directory/administrator

SUB-DOMAIN
If you are using FREE Sub-Domain given by afreewebhost.com and installed joomla on root, it should be:
Register or Login

www.yoursubdomain.dotf.info/administrator

If you installed Joomla on directory, it should be:
Register or Login

www.yoursubdomain.dotf.info/name-of-the-directory/administrator

NOTE!: "name-of-the-directory" is the name of your joomla folder or where do you installed joomla!


If you done it correctly, you should see the log in page:



Log in to to Joomla using your Admin Username and Password....

After you logged in, you should see this:




Now, go to Module Manager... click Extension ----> Module Manager

Great, now you should see this:




Ok now, that's done... Now go to New and select the Banner modules.



After checking the banner, click next.

Now you should see this page:



Now give any title you want,(OPTIONAL) I recommend "Ads" or "Banners".

After that, make the "enabled" thingy is checked,

Now, set the position you wish the ads/banners to appear...

Ok now, enter the ads/banner codes here:



Enter the Ads/banners codes on either "Header Text" or "Footer Text".

And then click SAVE. And your ads should appear!
